Terms of Service.
These Terms of Service govern your use of PractEase, a practice management product offered by Bookify Global Services LLP (“Bookify”, “we”, “our”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.
1. The service
PractEase is a software-as-a-service product for Indian Chartered Accountant and accounting firms. It includes task and workflow management, recurring compliance scheduling, time tracking, client management, GST-aware invoicing, document storage, AI-powered insights and notifications. Specific features available depend on the plan you have subscribed to.
2. Eligibility & accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and have the authority to bind the firm or organisation you sign up on behalf of. Each user account is for a single individual — sharing login credentials across multiple people violates these terms and may result in account termination.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that takes place under your account. Notify us immediately at support@practease.app if you suspect unauthorised access.
3. Your data
You own your data. All client data, task data, time logs, invoices, documents and other content you upload or create on PractEase remain your property. We process this data only to provide and improve the service.
We will never sell your data to third parties. We will never use your data for advertising. We will never train machine-learning models on your data without your explicit, written consent.
For details on how we handle your data, see our Privacy Policy.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use PractEase for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
- Attempt to access another organisation’s data, or probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the service without authorisation
- Reverse-engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code of the service
- Resell, sublicense or white-label PractEase without our written agreement
- Upload viruses, malware, or any code that could damage or disrupt the service
- Use automated tools to scrape, crawl or extract data at volumes inconsistent with normal use
5. AI features — fair use
AI Insights, AI Chat, Morning Brief and AI Document Vault use third-party AI providers under our agreement. Fair-use limits apply to prevent abuse. Reasonable use by a working CA firm will never hit these limits; sustained, automated, or programmatic use that materially exceeds normal patterns may be rate-limited or suspended after notice.
6. Subscription & payment
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually via Razorpay. All prices shown on the website are base rates exclusive of GST — GST at the applicable rate (currently 18%) is added at checkout. Annual subscriptions receive a 15% discount.
You authorise us (via Razorpay) to charge your payment method on each renewal date until you cancel. Renewals happen automatically. You can cancel at any time from your account settings; your access continues until the end of the paid period.
7. Refunds
Refund terms are governed by our separate Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference.
8. Service availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance is announced in advance. We are not liable for downtime caused by factors outside our reasonable control (third-party infrastructure outages, force majeure events, etc).
9. Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, after a reasonable notice and opportunity to cure where appropriate. On termination, we will provide a reasonable export window (at least 30 days) for you to download your data before deletion.
10. Limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by Indian law, Bookify will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses. Our aggregate liability under these terms in any 12-month period will not exceed the amount you paid us during that period.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for fraud, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
11. Intellectual property
PractEase, the PractEase brand, the source code, designs, and all features remain the exclusive property of Bookify Global Services LLP. These terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property except the limited right to use the service under your subscription.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email and on this page at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of PractEase after the effective date of an update constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
13. Governing law & jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising under or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Ernakulam, Kerala.
