Refund Policy.
We want PractEase to genuinely help your firm. If it doesn’t, we don’t want your money. This policy explains how trials, cancellations and refunds work, in plain language.
30-day free trial on all paid plans
Every paid plan — Standard, Plus and Pro — comes with a 30-day free trial. We do not require a credit card at signup. You will not be charged during the trial. If you don’t want to continue, simply do nothing — the account automatically reverts to the Free plan at the end of the trial. No invoice. No charge.
Free plan
The Free plan is genuinely free, forever. There is nothing to refund because there is nothing to charge. You can use it as long as you want, with no expiry.
Monthly subscriptions
Monthly subscriptions are billed in advance for the upcoming month. You can cancel any time from your account settings; your access continues until the end of the paid period and you will not be charged for the next month.
Once a month has been paid for, that month is non-refundable except in the specific situations listed below.
Annual subscriptions
Annual subscriptions are billed in advance for 12 months at a 15% discount. We offer a courtesy refund window: if you cancel within 7 days of an annual renewal, contact support@practease.app with “Refund request” in the subject and we will issue a prorated refund for the unused portion, less any applicable payment-gateway fees.
After 7 days from a renewal, annual subscriptions are non-refundable, but you can still cancel future renewals at any time.
Situations where we always refund
Regardless of plan type, we will refund (in full, prorated to the unused period) if:
- You were charged due to a billing error on our side
- The service had a critical failure (sustained downtime exceeding 24 hours in a calendar month) that prevented you from using PractEase
- A feature you specifically subscribed for is materially withdrawn from the service without prior notice
- Required under Indian consumer-protection law
How to cancel
You can cancel your subscription at any time from Settings → Billing → Request to Cancel Subscription in the PractEase app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid period; no future renewal will be charged. No lock-in periods. No cancellation penalties.
How to request a refund
For any refund request that falls within this policy, email support@practease.app with:
- Your registered firm name and email
- The plan and billing date in question
- The reason for your refund request
We will respond within 3 working days. Approved refunds are processed via Razorpay back to the original payment method, and typically appear in your account within 7 to 10 working days, depending on your bank.
Data after cancellation
When you cancel, you have at least 30 days to export your data via the in-app export tools. After 30 days, your data is permanently deleted from our active systems and from backups, except where we are required by law to retain it (for example, GST invoice records).
